A search that has been two years in the making came to a head yesterday when Elite Dangerous players made "first contact" with the game's fabled alien race. For the past two years, rumors and hints of these aliens were scattered around the vast reaches of Elite Dangerous.
Yesterday, players finally got their long-awaited close encounter with the Thargoid alien race.
