    Myths Surrounding Online Gaming

For many years, video games have been a mystery for people who don’t normally play them. When arcade games came around in the 70s, people who had never played them wondered what were the new coin-operated machines all about?! If not a pinball machine, were they some kind of jukeboxes? How much money did they make? Did they have anything to do with electronic foosball? Could they be addictive or make people sick? Even after 40 years, many of the myths associated with video games have stayed...

Review: Yakuza 6: The Song of Life (PS4)

How far would you go for family?
For the past year now, the Yakuza series has been burning brightly on the PlayStation 4. We had the fantastic Yakuza 0 make its way to Western audiences early in 2017, followed up by the ever so slightly inferior but still amazing Yakuza Kiwami a few months later. Despite these games existing for more than a decade across three different console generations, these PS4 releases are the first time many of us have ever gotten to experience the amazing...

Rumor: New BioShock in Development from 2K

According to some quick investigative work by Kotaku's Jason Schreier, a "top-secret" 2K studio is working on a "top-secret" new BioShock game. Schreier found this out while reporting on a story about Hangar 13 and how that studio lost its way with Mafia III.

This should probably not come as too big of a surprise to anybody. It will be interesting to see how this new BioShock game fares without Ken Levine and Irrational Games.

It wanted to combine elements of sandbox gameplay with RPG elements and strategy elements. That is to say: It was essentially Terraria set in an alternate universe. Well, it's been c...
