According to a report that went up today from Polygon, Call of Duty: Black Ops IIII will not feature a "traditional" single-player campaign. It will instead focus more on the multiplayer and Zombie modes.
Sources close to Polygon said that development by Treyarch on Black Ops IIII has been going rather poorly. As a result, it seems as though the single-player campaign wasn't going to be completed in time for the game's release date, which is still set for October 12, 2018....

Falke Coming to Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition on April 24
Come April 24, Falke will join the fight as a new combatant in Street Fighter V: Arcade Edition. The character was created as an alternate clone for M. Bison. Falke was then "heavily experimented on by Shadaloo and was forced to train day in, day out to achieve perfection." She can "infuse Psycho Power into objects and release it through them." This is seen primarily by how she uses her staff, which she has named Harmony. All that training caught up with Falke, throwing her into a deep... -

Myths Surrounding Online Gaming
For many years, video games have been a mystery for people who don’t normally play them. When arcade games came around in the 70s, people who had never played them wondered what were the new coin-operated machines all about?! If not a pinball machine, were they some kind of jukeboxes? How much money did they make? Did they have anything to do with electronic foosball? Could they be addictive or make people sick? Even after 40 years, many of the myths associated with video games have stayed... -

Review: Yakuza 6: The Song of Life (PS4)
How far would you go for family?
For the past year now, the Yakuza series has been burning brightly on the PlayStation 4. We had the fantastic Yakuza 0 make its way to Western audiences early in 2017, followed up by the ever so slightly inferior but still amazing Yakuza Kiwami a few months later. Despite these games existing for more than a decade across three different console generations, these PS4 releases are the first time many of us have ever gotten to experience the amazing... -

Shenmue and Shenmue 2 Getting Re-Releases on PS4, XB1, and PC in 2018
Sega apparently announced tonight that they are re-releasing both Shenmue and Shenmue II for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC some time in 2018. People seem to be rather excited about this announcement. Also, the Steam Store listing for Shenmue I&II is already up.
Sega says that the Shenmue I&II re-release is the "definitive versions" of both games. They will include such modern features like scalable screen resolutions, choice of modern or classic control schemes, various... -

Rumor: New BioShock in Development from 2K
According to some quick investigative work by Kotaku's Jason Schreier, a "top-secret" 2K studio is working on a "top-secret" new BioShock game. Schreier found this out while reporting on a story about Hangar 13 and how that studio lost its way with Mafia III.
This should probably not come as too big of a surprise to anybody. It will be interesting to see how this new BioShock game fares without Ken Levine and Irrational Games.

Terraria: Otherworld Cancelled After 3 Years of Development
Three years ago Re-Logic announced Terraria: Otherworld, an "alternate dimension" to the Terraria universe that you probably know and maybe even love. The game was going to task players with trying to restore a once-pristine world that has been "overrun by a malevolent force that has corrupted nature itself." It wanted to combine elements of sandbox gameplay with RPG elements and strategy elements. That is to say: It was essentially Terraria set in an alternate universe. Well, it's been c... -

King of Nothing: Billy Mitchell Stripped of Records, Banned
Most of Billy Mitchell's world records and high scores were stripped from him today following allegations that he cheated when he "earned" his high score in Donkey Kong of 1,062,800 points. The records, originally approved by Twin Galaxies, were subsequently stripped by Twin Galaxies following an "extensive research period" into claims that Mitchell utilized an emulator to obtain that high score. Mitchell first earned the record in Donkey Kong back in 1982. He then re-set the record ... -
