Hidden Peacekeeper Revolver Unlocked in Battlefield 1
Yet another big Battlefield 1 mystery has been solved, this time leading players to unlocking the unique Peacekeeper revolver weapon. In order to even have a chance of unlocking this weapon, you had to have completed one of the previous Easter eggs hidden in the game that awarded you a dog tag. In addition, you also had to complete a different secret that gave you a special weapon skin for the Support class. So you do that, then you do some stuff in the River Somme map that involves Morse code ... -

Players Reportedly Unable to Access L.A. Noire VR Due to DRM Issues
For days now, a number of L.A. Noire: The VR Case Files players have reported that they are unable to play the game that they purchased due to DRM authentication issues.
This issue was first spotted via the r/Vive section on Reddit and echoed on r/Games. The problem seems to be that the authentication servers are down, which leads to players being prompted to re-enter their product key despite their game already being activated previously. An ever growing number of ... -

In case there was any doubt about Bethesda's Starfield being a "next-gen title" then perhaps the following information direct from Todd Howard himself will clear things up.
Howard spoke with Eurogamer's Robert Purchese about his expectations for Starfield. Beyond it being a game that has gameplay systems and mechanics that he feels are "next-gen," the hardware that they are targeting isn't even out yet.
What, then, does Starfield being next-generation mean? "That to us... -

Valve Looking into "Better" Steam Spy Alternative
In April of this year, Valve started to change up the privacy settings for all Steam users. By default, all Steam users had their game libraries set to private. As a side-effect of this move, this left services like Steam Spy having to close up shop as they could no longer provide accurate data for public consumption. Now, Valve says that they're personally working on an alternative to Steam Spy. Specifically, they're making "something better than Steam Spy." This information was shared ... -

Carnival Games Brings Party Games to the Nintendo Switch in November
2K is bringing back their Carnival Games franchise, this time for the Nintendo Switch. The game is simply going to be titled Carnival Games and it will release on November 6 for $39.99 (USD). I assume this is a reboot of the series given that it's not like "Carnival Games 3."

EA Shelves Another Star Wars Game Following Amy Hennig's Departure
In October 2017, EA shut down Visceral Games (RIP), which was working on an untitled Star Wars game. Development on the game, codenamed Ragtag, was led by the former Uncharted director Amy Hennig.
