Tim Sweeney is always mad.

The antitrust lawsuit against Valve from Wolfire Games got a little spicy this week. To quickly get you up to speed: Wolfire claims that Valve uses its position with Steam to control game prices and muscle out competition. Though the initial lawsuit against Valve was dismissed, Wolfire amended their suit in May 2022 and the legal battle was back on.

It may have taken almost two years, but we are now starting to see some of the documents that...

TheMexicanRunner Beats Battletoads Turbo Tunnel Blindfolded without Dying

Beating Battletoads in 15.5 minutes is one thing. It's certainly no small feat and it is precisely what speedrunner TheMexicanRunner did this week at ESA Summer. That's quite impressive as it is, but he decided to one-up himself right after his run. TheMexicanRunner played through the dreaded Turbo Tunnel level of Battletoads without dying. Not only that, but he did so while blinded by a bag situated over his head. The bag had an adorable cat print on it. Here is TheMexicanRunner pla...

OnRush Devs at Codemasters Hit with Layoffs

Codemasters has reportedly laid off a number of employees from the OnRush development team after it was widely reported that sales have been adequate at best.

The team was previously known as Evolution Studios. They were acquired by Codemasters in 2016 after being dropped by their previous owner, Sony. While working as Evolution Studios, the studio created the often delayed but fairly well-reviewed Driveclub. They were also the team that brought the world the MotorStorm extreme...

Mario Marathon 2018 - Playing Super Mario Odyssey for Charity

Another Mario Marathon is upon us and you know what that means? That's right, it's time to play a ton of Mario all to raise money for the Child's Play Charity.

This year, the team is doing things a bit differently. Instead of playing a bunch of different Mario games, they have instead opted to go for an 880 Moon run of Super Mario Odyssey for the Nintendo Switch. This also seems to mean that instead of running games for roughly an entire week, they will instead wrap up the marathon...
