Sony Delays PlayStation 5 Event Due to Protests

PlayStation 5 games will have to wait a big longer.

Sony has just announced that they are postponing the PlayStation 5 event that was scheduled for June 4. The event has been postponed for obvious reasons. Those reasons, for those unaware, are the numerous ever ongoing protests against racism and cops that believe they have a license to kill.

These protests started following the murder of George Floyd by four police officers in Minnesota. However, that event was merely...

The David Cage Trilogy Coming to Steam on June 18

A full script may or may not be included.

On June 18, Quantic Dream says that they will release not one, not even two, but three titles on Steam. These three titles were out first on PlayStation hardware, with a PC release hitting last Summer on the Epic Games Store. It seems as though a year has passed, as these things tend to do, and as such it's time for Steam to have its moment to shine.

On June 18, we will see Detroit: Become Human, Beyond: Two Souls, and Heavy R...

Unreal Engine 5 Announced for Next-gen Platforms

Don't expect any games any time soon though.

"Nanite" and "Lumen" are going to be the new buzzwords for the next few years. Those two terms were the highlight of today's reveal for the Unreal Engine 5. The engine, still very early in development at Epic, won't be released to the public until late 2021. An early preview will be made available to some in early 2021. This engine is being built to support current-generation consoles, next-generation consoles, PC, Mac,...

Make sure your floor is clean because your jaw is about to hit it.

Three games. Three eras. That's the idea behind the newly announced Mafia: Trilogy. Though only presented with a short teaser and some screenshots, we do know a few key ideas behind the Mafia: Trilogy.

First off, it looks as though the first Mafia title will be called Mafia: Definitive Edition and will be a full remake. We're talking about some gorgeous looking visuals and modern conveniences on a game...

Steam Summer Sale 2020 Dates Leaked

Get those wallets ready.

A time honored consumer tradition is waiting until the right moment to spend a lot of money on items they wanted but did not want to pay full price for. An equally time honored tradition, at least among PC gamers is having the dates of the Steam Summer Sale leaked well ahead of time.

In fact, those dates are usually leaked right around this time of the year. In fact, 2019's dates were leaked almost exactly a year ago, with a difference of just...

Red Dead Redemption 2 Coming Fall 2017 to PlayStation 4 and Xbox One

Rockstar Games announced Red Dead Redemption 2 today. Surprise! Actually, it is a bit of a surprise because this is the third game in the Red Dead series. There was Red Dead Revolver and then Red Dead Redemption. I was expecting something like Red Dead Renegade or something.

Anyway, hey look it's Red Dead Redemption 2 and it's slated for release next Fall only for the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One.
Developed by the creators of Grand Theft Auto V and Red Dead Redemption, Red Dead

United Front Games Supposedly Closed, Smash and Grab No Longer on Sale

According to a post by NeoGAF moderator bishoptl, United Front Games, may be shut down. The studio allegedly let employees go earlier today.

It also looks like their latest game, SMASH+GRAB, is no longer available for sale on Steam. The game was available as recently as yesterday and even has an ongoing free weekend. The game was only just released last month on Steam Early Access. This also seems to indicate that we may never see a proper sequel to Sleeping Dogs from the...

  • More Red Dead Sequel Teasing by Rockstar

More Red Dead Sequel Teasing by Rockstar

After yesterday's fairly obvious teasing of a new Red Dead sequel, Rockstar has once again uploaded a new image across their social media sites.

I suspect we're in for a few more of these before all is said and done. Hell, we might even get an announcement trailer at the end of it all. People are expecting a Red Dead Redemption 2 but it would actually be the third game in the series. It's probably going to be Red Dead (Some other "R" word here), but we'll just have to wait...

It is currently expected to see the light of day next Summer, so you've still got a bit of time.

  • Mafia III PC Review

    Mafia III PC Review

    Repetitive, bland, broken, and disappointing.
It has become increasingly difficult to find many good things to say about Mafia III. In the time I have spent with the game, I have seen an abundance of glitches, poor A.I., uninspired open-world gameplay, and story missions so repetitive that even the first Assassin’s Creed is jealous. It’s a very interesting situation I found myself in while playing through the repetitive gameplay slog for hours on end, because I am someone who quite enjoy...

  • Rockstar Games Teasing New Red Dead Game

Rockstar Games Teasing New Red Dead Game

Rockstar Games just uploaded the above image to Twitter today.

Afterwards, they made a similar post to their Newswire. Shortly after they changed their cover photo on Facebook.

If this isn't a sign of an upcoming announcement for a new Red Dead game, then I don't know what is. When Rockstar revealed their last game, Grand Theft Auto V in 2011, they did a similar tactic. In the case of Grand Theft Auto V, they revealed the game via trailer a week after the initial...
