Sony is finally starting to allow cross-platform play between the PlayStation 4 and other platforms, namely the Xbox One. Granted, there is only one game that you can test at the moment but it's a start!
This update represents a major policy change for Sony. Even as recently as June, the company was actively blocking cross-play with other platforms, effectively making the PlayStation 4 a gaming island.
Fornite is the first game that Sony is testing to allow cross-platform...

The voice talent for Kingdom hearts 3 was revealed today courtesy of Square Enix. A lot of what you see below will probably seem familiar to you for those who are already fans of Disney and Pixar films. Perhaps the actor you most expected to return, Haley Joel Osment, is indeed back and voicing Sora.

Silent Night - A Ghost Story for Christmas Coming this December
Silent Night - A Ghost Story for Christmas brings its ghost-hunting adventures to Steam this December. December seems like a very appropriate time for this to be released, perhaps tied with a late October release.
This is the first time the series makes the move to 3D.
Silent Night - A Ghost Story for Christmas is a spooky festive tale, set at Northfield Church during an endless Christmas Eve. Beyond the Church, the Carrion Woods await, where the wood-dwellers still haunt... -

Valkyria Chronicles 4 is Now Available on Consoles and PC
I do not know much about the Valkyria Chronicles franchise, but I do know that this press announcement for the release of Valkyria Chronicles 4 included a picture of a dog and that's a-ok in my book. You can see the dog in the thumbnail for the trailer below. In all seriousness though, Valkyria Chronicles 4 continues with the turn-based strategy RPG gameplay fans probably already know and love. This entry allows you to "experience the other side of the Second Europan War" and the "Operat... -

Former Employee Files Lawsuit Against Telltale for Breaking Labor Laws
The recent and very sudden closure of Telltale left many in the gaming industry saddened. Fans were sad because it their favorite franchises may never be finished or given a sequel. More importantly though, hundreds of employees were let go without advance warning and without severance pay.
This is a big "no-no" when it comes to little things like "laws."
A former employee of Telltale is now suing the company in a class-action lawsuit. Polygon reports that the lawsuit was filed in a federal court in San Francisco on Monday. It was submitted by Vernie Roberts on behalf of himself and the other workers that were laid off this past Friday. The suit says that Telltale did not give "cause" and did not give them "advance written notice as required by the WARN Act." ... -

Red Dead Redemption 2 Has About 200 Species of Animal for You to Hunt and Skin
Rockstar would like to inform you that Red Dead Redemption 2 will have about 200 species of animals, birds, and fish. All of these creatures will "behave and respond to their environment in a unique way." I am assuming that every single one of these animals will be able to be hunted, killed, and skinned. It just wouldn't feel right if you couldn't do that in a Red Dead Redemption sequel. Rockstar also passes along word that there are 19 different breeds of horses that you will be able t... -

I mean, it's only about a minute long but it does introduce yet another new character to the game. Other than this, we still don't really know much about Death Stranding in the slightest.... -

Telltale Games Reportedly Laid Off Most Employees Today (Updated)
Reports started to come in that Telltale Games, the development studio behind adventure titles like The Walking Dead and The Wolf Among Us, was hit with a huge number of layoffs today.
The studio, which has been actively developing and releasing The Walking Dead: The Final Season, is reportedly down to just 25 employees. In early to mid-2017, over 300 people were said to be employed at the studio. And to those who may be confused, I'm not talking about 25% of the staff remaining....
