Secret Maps Showed Off Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Launch Trailer
The launch trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 came out today. I mean, the game is out on October 12, 2018 so having a launch trailer now isn't exactly out of the ordinary. It's a launch trailer. It shows off some scenes of action, it has some voice over work, and the like. Since Black Ops 4 doesn't have a single player campaign, you really don't have to worry about seeing any spoilers here, so that's a plus, right? However, there are still some secrets hidden in the trailer. ... -

GOG Celebrates 10 Years by Giving You a Free Game
Apparently, online retailer GOG.com has been around for ten whole years now. That's actually rather wild since it still feels like it's only been a few years, at most.
So it's been a decade. Ten years of friendships that'll last us forever, ten years with the most vivacious community of gamers, and above all ten years of unconfined DRM-free delight. Let's mark this moment with a look back at the past and indulge in stories from our friends in this walk of life. Oh, and we've got y... -

Google Wants to Stream Assassin's Creed Odyssey to You Through Chrome
The idea of streaming a game to an end consumer isn't a radically new idea. It's been around for years now in one form or another, including with current services like PlayStation Now or Nvidia's similarly named GeForce Now. But streaming a game through a browser? Well, that's a bit different and not really something that's been done on the scale of a AAA game. At least, it wasn't a thing until now. Google, of all companies, announced Project Stream earlier today. They're calling it a "techn... -

Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One on October 26.
The second half of our Red Dead Redemption 2 Gameplay Series outlines a wide range of nefarious activities Arthur and the Van der Linde Gang can get involved... -

Pets Added in Fortnite Season 6
The sixth season of Fortnite is upon us. And while Epic Games is dubbing it the "Darkness Rises" season, I'm calling it the season where you can get pets. Pets in Fortnite. Hell to the yes! I'm talking about adorable dogs. I'm talking about dragons. I'm talking about some chameleon looking things. Can you pet them? I don't know, but I sure as hell hope so! Oh and there are some other changes like to the map and something about a giant purple cube and Shadow Stones? There's probably som... -

PUBG Partners with FACEIT for Competitive Gaming
PUBG and eSports go together like, well, like two things that sort of go together but not quite and is only somewhat enjoyed by the masses but would maybe be accepted more if the presentation was better than it used to be? You know what I'm talking about.
That's perhaps why today's news about FACEIT and PUBG teaming up is probably a good thing to learn about.
On September 28, PUBG will be added to the FACEIT platform for Europe, North America, and South America.... -

BlizzCon Virtual Ticket Includes World of Warcraft Classic Demo Access
Blizzard just made the BlizzCon 2018 Virtual Ticket a bit more appealing for those who may not have felt like $49.99 (USD) was worth it quite yet. The studio revealed that shortly after the opening ceremony for November 2 (near 1PM PT), players will be able to download the still in development BlizzCon WoW Classic Demo that those actually at the event will get to try on the show floor. It is perhaps important to know that this year's Virtual Ticket is $10 more than the previous year. There also ... -

by Shawn ZipayIt's AAAA vs WB.
March isn't even over yet and we've already seen a couple of stinkers come out from major gaming studios. While we tend to focus on the surprise hits or quality titles in these polls, this time it's a little bit different.
Between the Rocksteady developed live-service Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and the "AAAA" quality Ubisoft developed Skull and Bones: Which is the bigger disappointment for you?
