Yesterday evening, another E3 2018 announcement was prematurely leaked. This time it wasn't via Walmart or a ratings board. Nope. This one came from Steam. That's right, a Steam ad for Just Cause 4 popped up last night.
For reference, Just Cause 4 hasn't even been announced yet.

Early 2019 is the current release window that has been set for Dead or Alive 6. The next iteration of the popular fighting franchise will be released for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC.

According to sources close to Kotaku, Crackdown 3 has been delayed until 2019. The game was originally announced back at E3 2014. It was given a rough "2016" release window.
It did not come out in 2016.
At some point it was said to be ready for release alongside the Xbox One X in early November 2017.
It was not.

Valve Will Continue to Do Nothing About What Games Appear on Steam
Valve has essentially said "fuck it, put whatever you want on Steam just so long as we get a piece."
This seems to be the general tone of today's blog post by Valve's Erik Johnson. The company that runs Steam continues to show that they kind of don't really care about what appears on the platform so long as it's not "illegal or straight up trolling." Of course, Valve also noted that they are the ones who ultimately decide what is "illegal" or "trolling" as it applies to games...
