Ubisoft Pulls Licenses for The Crew, Makes the Game Completely Inaccessible to Buyers

From the same company trying to sell you a $130 version of Star Wars Outlaws.

From announcing a $130 edition of Star Wars Outlaws to pulling game licenses from those that bought The Crew, Ubisoft sure is on a roll this week.

The Crew was Ubisoft's open-world racing game that was pulled from sale back in December 2023. As of March 31, 2024, Ubisoft shut down the online servers for The Crew. This effectively made the game unplayable across all platforms, including: PC,...

Tim Sweeney Called Valve 'Assholes' in Email to Gabe Newell, Valve COO Says 'You Mad Bro?'

Tim Sweeney is always mad.

The antitrust lawsuit against Valve from Wolfire Games got a little spicy this week. To quickly get you up to speed: Wolfire claims that Valve uses its position with Steam to control game prices and muscle out competition. Though the initial lawsuit against Valve was dismissed, Wolfire amended their suit in May 2022 and the legal battle was back on.

It may have taken almost two years, but we are now starting to see some of the documents that...

No, Starfield and Indiana Jones are not going multi-platform any time soon.

The heads of Xbox stayed true to their word and were indeed a part of a special edition of the Official Xbox Podcast. During today's pre-recorded podcast and subsequent blog post, head of Xbox Phil Spencer stated that four Xbox exclusives are going to be multi-platform releases. Is it Starfield? Indiana Jones? Gears of War? Halo?! No, no, no, and no. Though Spencer did not specify what those four titles ...

Fallout 76 Walk Speed Reportedly Tied to Framerate, No FOV Slider

It sounds as though the Fallout 76 beta is an absolute mess, at least on the PC. It all started when the BethesdaNet client just straight up deleted players' pre-loads for a time last night.

Since then, some additional issues have started to circulate on the Internet.

DSO Gaming reports that the Fallout 76 beta does not include an FOV slider, nor does it include support for 16:10 or 21:9 monitors. On top of that, it seems as though player movement speed is ti...

    Deltarune Released from Undertale Developer

Following up on a series of cryptic, yet hopeful, tweets made yesterday from the Undertale Twitter account, a new game has emerged. It's called Deltarune and aside from being a clever anagram of Undertale, it seems to share a lot of similarities to its predecessor.

But you don't have to take my word for it. No, sir. You can try out Deltarune for yourself right now by visiting the Deltarune website.

SUPER IMPORTANT WARNING: It seems as though the uninstaller...

  • Bethesda Warns Fallout 76 Players Not to Touch Anything as It Could Delete Your Game

I cannot even wrap my mind around how something of this magnitude happens. But apparently, if you pre-loaded the Fallout 76 beta, you run the very real risk of having your entire pre-load be deleted if you touch literally any button on the game client.

According to Variety, Bethesda noticed login issues that were affecting the BethesdaNet client. Bethesda Support issued a warning not to touch any button on the client. Those who never saw the warning or chose to ignore...

Command & Conquer: Rivals Coming to Mobile Devices on December 4

Hey, there's a new Command & Conquer game coming. It's a mobile game.

Command & Conquer: Rivals will hit Android and iOS devices come December 4. It promises to deliver a "fast-paced, RTS action game" built for mobile users. I am confident this will make fans of the older games absolutely thrilled. However, given EA's apparent commitment to seeing this game succeed in a competitive sense, they may actually find something to like here.

Red Dead Redemption 2 Surpasses $725 Million in 3 Days

Red Dead Redemption 2 has apparently achieved the biggest opening weekend of all time across all forms of entertainment. This at least what Rockstar is telling me and why would they lie about their own game release? Do you really think someone would do that? How distrusting you are. So what does "biggest opening weekend of all time" really mean? Well, it means that Red Dead Redemption 2 had the biggest opening weekend in retail sell-through across all media types. It also had the second ...

    Review: Call of Cthulhu (PC)

    Choices matter?
Call of Cthulhu places you in the shoes of Edward Pierce, a private investigator that falls firmly in the overused trope of being one drink away from full blown alcoholism. Pierce is a man with a mysterious past and, apparently, a pre-destined future. A future that finds him headed towards Darkwater Island in an attempt to get some concrete answers as to what really happened to the Hawkins family. Was it a simple accident that consumed the lives of a mother, father,...
