The Crew was Ubisoft's open-world racing game that was pulled from sale back in December 2023. As of March 31, 2024, Ubisoft shut down the online servers for The Crew. This effectively made the game unplayable across all platforms, including: PC,...

No, Starfield and Indiana Jones are not going multi-platform any time soon.

The heads of Xbox stayed true to their word and were indeed a part of a special edition of the Official Xbox Podcast. BELOW Release Date Set for December 14

It's been five long years, but we now have a firm release date for BELOW from Capybara Games. First announced at Microsoft's E3 2013 event, this visually stunning dungeon crawler has been in development and delay hell for quite some time. The last we really heard about it was 2016 when the studio revealed the game would be delayed "indefinitely" so that they could polish the game and not rush it. But at long last, BELOW is here. Well, it will be here on December 14, 2018 when it releases...

Epic Confirms Unreal Tournament Development is Dead

In a reveal that should surprise nobody, Epic Games confirmed that they have halted development on Unreal Tournament. In 2014, a new Unreal Tournament was announced. It's out there. It's playable. There isn't much content, but it existed in a state that you could, realistically, play some matche...

    Much Ado About Loot Boxes

Once again, the hot topic of video game loot boxes finds itself in the spotlight. This past week the Federal Trade Commission (FTC) announced their plans to investigate loot boxes. They cite concerns over the potential impact of children. In response, the Entertainment Software Association (ESA) doubled down on their stance that loot boxes can "enhance the experience." They claim that the loot boxes are not anywhere close to traditional gambling, which you can practice using ...

Bethesda to Send Proper Canvas Bags to Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition Owners

Bethesda revealed that they will now give proper canvas bags to customers that purchased the Fallout 76 Power Armor Edition. As you probably recall, the customers that purchased that version of the game were given not the canvas bags they were advertised, but rather a nylon bag that is in no way comparable to canvas.

At $200, you would think that they would actually provide the item that is still being advertised at retailers, right? Thankfully, Bethesda realized the error...

This very exact and very far-off release date was revealed during Mech_Con 2018 on Saturday, December 2, 2018. How do they have that exact date? No idea. Will they actually release on that date without delay? I have no idea. Will this site stop having database crashes? Probably not. It's a strange time we're living in, folks. ...

  • Bethesda Gave Fallout 76 Canvas Bags to Influencers, But Not to Paying Customers

Two days ago, we reported on the story that Bethesda pulled a bait-and-switch when it came to delivering a canvas bag to fans that spent $200 for Fallout 76's Power Armor Edition. As you recall, they were instead given a nylon bag and not the canvas bag that is still being advertised at retailers like Amazon and GameStop.

Yesterday, we reported on how Bethesda's compensation was meager, at best. They offered up $5 of in-game currency that can be used to maybe buy a door and...
