It may have taken almost two years, but we are now starting to see some of the documents that...

Devolver Digital and Vile Monarch announced the release date for their "cannabis tycoon" game today that is appropriately called Weedcraft Inc. The release date is none other than April... 11th. Alright, I get it. I suppose they wanted the game out ahead of the 20th so that people can get their videos in order ahead of time. It just makes sense!

As the game's title implies, Weedcraft Inc is about the in's and out's of running a business that specializes in the production and...

  • Microsoft Reveals World of Warcraft Now Runs on DirectX 12 on Windows 7

Microsoft Reveals World of Warcraft Now Runs on DirectX 12 on Windows 7

I really have no idea why Microsoft is promoting this news, yet here we are. A new MSDN blog post was put up today by Jianye Lu, program manager at Microsoft, that talks about how World of Warcraft is a DirectX 12 game running on Windows 7.

There are a lot of things simultaneously incredibly weird and incredibly interesting about this news. It marks the first major title to use DirectX 12 on Windows 7. That's pretty neat. However, DirectX 12 has largely been a Windows 10 exclusive...

Gearbox Teases Some Borderlands Reveal for PAX East 2019

Late in February, Gearbox announced that they will have a presence at PAX East 2019. Today, the development studio put an exclamation point on that announcement by teasing something that looks a hell of a lot like the Borderlands art style.

The tweet was nothing more than the ubiquitous eyes emoji 👀 along with a stylized road sign saying "March 28" and "Boston, MA" in the Borderlands style. I'm assuming this is going to be Gearbox's big Borderlands...

Google Teases Their New Gaming Console in GDC 2019 Promo Video

It's no secret that Google has been working on a gaming console. They've had a patent filed since late 2018 showing off the potential design for the new console's controller. It's kind of the typical console controller design that most of us have already come to know and probably love.

It's currently unclear as to what Google has planned for this device. Multiple sources have said that it will be a console that focuses on streaming. However, some rumors have suggested that the...

  • Doom: Annihilation is a New Film. It's a Direct-to-Video Release. The Trailer is Horrible. Try to Act Surprised.

Look, I pretty much said all that needed to be said in the headline. There is indeed a new Doom movie coming. It's being put out by Universal 1440 Entertainment, a division of Universal Pictures Home Entertainment. It will be a direct-to-video release slated to hit this Fall.

For you youngsters at home, this is what a "video" refers to. While they may not be around all that much, saying something is "direct-to-video" means that it's probably too terrible...

  • Poll: What is 2024's Biggest Gaming Disappointment So Far?
    by Shawn Zipay
    It's AAAA vs WB.

March isn't even over yet and we've already seen a couple of stinkers come out from major gaming studios. While we tend to focus on the surprise hits or quality titles in these polls, this time it's a little bit different.

Between the Rocksteady developed live-service Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and the "AAAA" quality Ubisoft developed Skull and Bones: Which is the bigger disappointment for you?

    Playing these games isn't...
