It may have taken almost two years, but we are now starting to see some of the documents that...

Ubisoft Reveals Over 100 Uplay+ Launch Titles

Plus, try it free for one month.

Back at E3, Ubisoft announced that they would soon launch their own subscription service. This service that they're calling Uplay+ would function much like EA's Access and Origin Access programs in that you will be able to pay a monthly fee to gain access to an ever growing library of old and new titles from the publisher. Really, the only major differences that I can see here is the fact that Uplay+ may not include a discount on game purchases like...

No Cross-platform Play for Borderlands 3 at Launch

Randy Pitchford finally shot that rumor down.

A few days back, the Borderlands 3 Twitter promised an upcoming "celebration of togetherness." Many took that little teaser to mean that Gearbox was going to announce that Borderlands 3 would ship with cross-platform play support.

Well, it doesn't have cross-platform support. Today's "celebration" was for something that really wasn't even close to cross-platform support. Yesterday, Randy Pitchford finally...

In case you missed it, Tetris Effect is exclusive to the Epic Games Store. There is no saying whether or not this is a timed exclusive release, or if this third-party PC release will remain...

Horror Game Devotion May Not be Re-released

Developer says this may change, but not any time soon.

This past February, Taiwan-based Red Candle Games pulled their then newly released horror title, Devotion, from the Steam store. This came after it was discovered that the game had shipped with an Easter egg that references how China's president, Xi Jinping, looks like Winnie the Pooh. What followed was a wave of review bombing on Steam from upset Chinese citizens that continued to toe the line that the government has repeatedly...

Respawn to Force Apex Legends Cheaters to Play Each Other

That's one way of dealing with cheaters.

Respawn Entertainment, the studio behind Apex Legends, says that they will soon begin to implement a new method of anti-cheat in their still fairly popular battle royale title. Unlike many other methods of anti-cheat, this one aims to issue softbans against known cheaters.

In short, this means that people who are detected to be cheating will be matched up only against others who have been found to be cheating. These people will...

  • Poll: What is 2024's Biggest Gaming Disappointment So Far?
    by Shawn Zipay
    It's AAAA vs WB.

March isn't even over yet and we've already seen a couple of stinkers come out from major gaming studios. While we tend to focus on the surprise hits or quality titles in these polls, this time it's a little bit different.

Between the Rocksteady developed live-service Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League and the "AAAA" quality Ubisoft developed Skull and Bones: Which is the bigger disappointment for you?
