I used my best quip in the headline.
As part of the lead up to the release of Half-Life: Alyx, Valve just made every game within the Half-Life Complete collection available for free. This freebie is for every single Steam user, but there is a small catch.
The free period lasts from now through to April 1, 2020. That's still about two and a half months worth of play time that they're giving you, which is plenty of time to play Half-Life, Half-Life 2, Half-Life 2: Episode...

Pieces of lore were discovered in addition to a bonus code that gave players a free emblem. It has all been quite elaborate.... -

The studio flat out admitted that the devs will be put through extreme crunch.
We learned this week that Cyberpunk 2077 would see a significant delay. Unfortunately for the developers at CD Projekt RED this added development time doesn't mean less crunch as you may have expected.

The original came out back in June 1999, which may actually be before your time depending on your age. It was released on Linux and Windows and ran off of id Tech 2, the same engine that powered Quake II.

Horizon: Zero Dawn Might Be Coming to PC in 2020
Is Sony embracing the Microsoft release format?
For just a short time now, Microsoft has embraced the PC platform with giant, hearty bearhugs. Microsoft has released, and plans to release, a number of their first-party Xbox titles on the PC via Steam and the Windows 10 Store. The biggest push for the PC platform from Microsoft came from the launch of the Xbox Game Pass for PC. Though still technically in beta, Game Pass for PC has already offered up a number of titles for a fairly... -

Cyberpunk 2077 Sees Significant Delay
At least April won't be so jam packed now.
Earlier today, CD Projekt RED announced that Cyberpunk 2077 will be delayed. The game was originally slated to be released on April 16, but most fans actually expected to see a delay announced sooner rather than later. There was "just no way" that game was going to be released in April. Even a number of previews for the game noted how janky a lot of it seemed, especially for a game that was mere months away from release.

2019 Was RuneScape's Most Successful Year Ever
Keep in mind that the game is 19 years old.
As it enters into its 20th year, RuneScape apparently shows no signs of slowing down. Jagex announced today that 2019 saw more people playing RuneScape and Old School RuneScape than at any other point in the franchise's history. More specifically, there were more than 1.1 million paying subscribers to the game in 2019. This is in addition to the "many millions" that simply partake of the free-to-play content.
