Reports Suggest that a New Switch Model is Coming in 2020
This isn't the first time this rumor has popped up.
Ever since the Nintendo Switch was released, it seems like we've had a rumor floating around about some "Switch Pro" that Nintendo was getting ready to ship. This rumor always had some varying degree of validity behind it though.
Last year the rumor suggested that Nintendo was working on a couple new versions of the Switch. Naturally, the rumor again pushed the narrative of a "Switch Pro" being one... -

Nvidia Announces 360Hz Monitor for Competitive Gaming
Nvidia showed of a new 1080p, 360Hz monitor at CES.
When it comes to monitors, more is usually better, so long as you aren't talking about response times at least. More resolution means more pixels which means better image quality. More Hertz (Hz) means higher refresh rates which means the gameplay animations are smoother. Of course, to get these high resolutions or refresh rates, you need a powerful system that can support them.
If you do have a beefy system and you feel... -

Crytek Temporarily Shelves Lawsuit Against Cloud Imperium Games
Lengthy development times are finally paying off for CIG.
Back in the far off time of late 2017/early 2018 Crytek had sued Cloud Imperium Games. Crytek's main complaint was that CIG was planning on making two games, Star Citizen and Squadron 42, but they had only licensed the CryENGINE for one title. Then CIG issued a response. Then Crytek issued a response to CIG's response. Since those responses, it's been fairly quiet on the legal front from both studios.

Stalker 2 Ditches the X-Ray Engine
RIP X-Ray
There was a small update on the development of S.T.A.L.K.E.R. 2 made today via the game's official Twitter account. Instead of utilizing the X-Ray Engine, or at least a highly updated version of it, they will instead be going with Unreal Engine.
The X-Ray Engine was the 3D game engine created by GSC Game World. The engine was used to power the first three S.T.A.L.K.E.R. titles: Shadow of Chernobyl, Clear Sky, and Call of Pripyat.

Leaked: The Final Fantasy VII Remake Demo Intro
Spoiler warning... I guess?
A few days back, a listing for a Final Fantasy VII Remake demo was spotted by Gamestat. This is the same source that confirmed the Resident Evil 3 remake and its cover art ahead of its official announcement.
On its own the demo is reason enough to get excited. Square Enix hasn't officially announced a demo for the game yet, but with this leak it seems very reasonable to assume that one is coming shortly. It also stands to reason that the demo...
