Starbreeze CFO Convicted of Insider Trading

The former employee found guilty of "gross insider crimes."

In December 2018, Swedish authorities raided the offices of Starbreeze in Stockholm. At the time, higher-ups at the studio were suspected of insider trading. The Swedish Economic Crime Authority (ECO) gave the go-ahead for the raid in order to gather additional evidence in their investigation.

Since then, we really hadn't heard too much about the investigation. We do know that Starbreeze has certainly...

Official Half-Life: Alyx Release Date Announced

Valve has announced a solid release date.

Ever since Valve announced Half-Life: Alyx back in November 2019, they maintained that the game would be out at some point in March 2020. That fairly vague release window did not sway over the past four months now, which was either very reassuring that Valve Time wouldn't kick in, or anxiety inducing because you just wanted the delay announcement to come. OH GOD JUST GET IT OVER WITH ALREADY!

    Thankfully, that delay announcement...

Details on new maps and playable characters.

New details were revealed today for Resident Evil Resistance, the upcoming asymmetrical 4v1 co-op game from Capcom. The last we heard about the game was that it would be bundled with the upcoming Resident Evil 3 remake as a "free" bonus. Conan Chop Chop Delayed

The very real hack-and-slash has been pushed back slightly.

Conan Chop Chop initially began life as an apparent April Fools joke back in 2019. Nope, it was very much a real video game that was really in development from Mighty Kingdom and set to be published by Funcom. It has a cute art style, some tried and true hack-and-slash style gameplay, and co-op support for up to four players. We talked a bit about it when Funcom dished the first details back in June of 2019, if you recall....
