EA Also Announces Free Next-Gen Upgrade Program
Buy now, upgrade later.
EA is joining the slow but still growing list of publishers and companies that are dedicated to providing free "upgrades" to next-gen versions of games. EA joins the likes of Microsoft and even CD Projekt Red in the push to allow fans and gamers to buy a current-gen version of a game and get a free upgrade to a next-gen version of the game with as little hassle as possible. That's right, buy a game once in the here and now and you'll have a graphically... -

A new developer diary video was released today by Supermassive Games. The studio, if you recall, is hard at work on the next entry for The Dark Pictures Anthology. Their first entry was Man of Medan, which was released in late August of 2019. It allowed both you and a friend to play through the story together if you so desired.
The next entry, and the one in which we're focusing on today, is called Little Hope.

New Game Plus Added to Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order
A free content update is now available.
EA and Respawn released a free new content update on May 4 for Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order. One of the most requested features for the game was added in today's update. This is, of course, the ability to play with a New Game+ option that carries over some unlocks to a second playthrough of the game. You can tell by those ominous italics that there's a catch here with this implementation of New Game+. More on that in just a second.

EA Play Live 2020 Set for June 11
It's all digital.
EA just announced that they will once again hold their EA Play Live event for 2020. This event will be similar to last year's event, except that instead of having a presentation in front of a live audience, it will be a digital only affair.
EA Play Live 2020 begins on June 11 at 4PM (PST). As was the case with last year's event, you can expect to see various world premiere trailers, new news, and "more!" Oh I do love me a nebulous "more"... -

id Software and Composer Mick Gordon Officially Part Ways
This is a huge loss for everyone.
There have been some rumblings over the past week or so that Mick Gordon was not at all happy with how some aspects of the DOOM Eternal soundtrack were being handled. These issues were first brought up around April 19, 2020 after it was discovered that many of the audio tracks from the official DOOM Eternal soundtrack were severely lacking in dynamic range. Mick responded to the Twitter thread saying that he did not mix the tracks in question and that... -

Top Three Midlaners To Play in Dota 2 7.26c Patch
Today we take a look at some of the strongest mid-laners in Dota 2 that will help you gain MMR or simply win games in normal Dota 2 matches.
The meta of Dota 2 changes frequently, and it’s nothing like it was a few years ago. Still, the mid position is the second most important position in the game, and that’s why it’s called the position 2.
Almost no pub game starts without a fight for who will take the mid lane, because people know how much... -

New Release Dates Revealed for The Last of Us Part 2 and Ghost of Tsushima (Updated)
They really mean it this time!
Original (April 27, 2020): Sony has just provided the updated release dates for both The Last of Us Part II and Ghost of Tsushima. Both of these titles had suffered some unfortunate delays due to the little global pandemic thing. It was just a couple of short weeks ago in early April when we first learned that The Last of Us Part II was "delayed indefinitely."
Today, Sony has once again provided actual release dates for these titles...

by Shawn ZipayIt's AAAA vs WB.
March isn't even over yet and we've already seen a couple of stinkers come out from major gaming studios. While we tend to focus on the surprise hits or quality titles in these polls, this time it's a little bit different.
