Details Dished on WWE 2K Battlegrounds

Details reveal game modes, pricing, and gameplay elements.

In April, we first brought you word that 2K was doing away with this year's annual iteration of the woefully broken and busted WWE 2K franchise. This year, the studio has instead opted for a more arcadey approach to the genre with WWE 2K Battlegrounds. While this may not be what fans of the more sim focused series necessarily wanted, it is a good opportunity for the yearly franchise to take a break and re-tool itself for 2021....

Mafia: Definitive Edition Delayed Until Late September

    Gameplay reveal coming July 22.

Given that we have not yet seen any sort of gameplay for Mafia: Definitive Edition, it should not come as any surprise that the game has been delayed. The lack of gameplay was especially concerning as the game was originally slated to be released on August 28. It was just revealed to be pushed back to a September 25 release instead. The reason? Yep, it's our old pal COVID-19 showing up again.

The announcement of the delay comes alongside...

Rockstar Might Be Working on a VR Game with Former Team Bondi Devs

This is a mix of speculation with some details.

Sydney-based developer Video Games Deluxe, is said to be working on a new "AAA open-world title in VR for Rockstar." Video Games Deluxe is made up of some former devs of Team Bondi. You may recall Team Bondi from their previous (and only) creation L.A. Noire.

Team Bondi had a number of "controversies" during the development of L.A. Noire. This includes but is not limited to having omitted well over 100...

Microsoft has renewed the trademark for Fable. This comes shortly after the company kind of downplayed the significance of a Fable placeholder Twitter account.

The fact that Microsoft has renewed the Fable trademark signifies literally nothing. However, this is also something that I know a number of people will be interested in knowing. Companies renew trademarks all the time. For instance, Nintendo held on to the Eternal Darkness trademark for God...

    by Shawn Zipay
    It's AAAA vs WB.

March isn't even over yet and we've already seen a couple of stinkers come out from major gaming studios. While we tend to focus on the surprise hits or quality titles in these polls, this time it's a little bit different.
