From the same company trying to sell you a $130 version of Star Wars Outlaws.

From announcing a $130 edition of Star Wars Outlaws to pulling game licenses from those that bought The Crew, Ubisoft sure is on a roll this week.

The Crew was Ubisoft's open-world racing game that was pulled from sale back in December 2023. As of March 31, 2024, Ubisoft shut down the online servers for The Crew. This effectively made the game unplayable across all platforms, including: PC,...

Tiananmen Square Footage Removed from Call of Duty Trailer

Activision bending the knee? What? No. Never!

The first trailer for Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War was blocked in China and then later edited from every other region because it contained roughly one second of footage from the Tiananmen Square protests from 1989. This is when the Chinese government had a big uh "crackdown" on pro-democracy protesters. That is to say, they murdered the fuck out of their citizens, or made them "disappear," and attacked them with...

Rumor: Nintendo to Release Switch Pro Model in 2021

A year later and the rumor returns.

In early 2019, there was a rumor that Nintendo was going to release not one, but two new Switch models. One was supposedly going to be a "Pro" variant of the base Switch model. The other would be a cheaper release that had a few cut features. At least part of that rumor came true with the release of the Nintendo Switch Lite.

Sadly, the rumor of the Pro model did not pan out and the rumor seemed to have fizzled out. That is,...

  • In First Hearing, Apple Wins Right to Remove Fortnite from Store but Not Unreal Engine

The first battle in a long war has reached its conclusion.

This ban against Unreal Engine would have effectively barred all Unreal Engine developers...
