  • Six Days in Fallujah Publisher Now Says the game is 'Inseparable from Politics'

    Make up your minds.

When the resurrection of Six Days in Fallujah was first announced, publisher Victura told Polygon that they weren't "trying to make a political commentary." Er, that's a really bold and stupid statement to make given how your game focuses on some of the most fucked up events of the Iraq War. Even ignoring the broader context, the game literally focuses on war. War is, by its very nature, political. There's no way around it.

    Cut to today when...

    Ranking the Resident Evil Games

For years, Resident Evil has dominated the survival horror genre. Heck, they are often credited with creating the genre in the first place. The first Resident Evil came out back in 1996 and once it did, the gaming industry was forever changed.

In the 25 years since, developer Capcom released a fair number of new entries to the franchise, including some spin-offs, and even a couple of remakes. Today, we will take a look at the best of the mainline franchise releases and determine which...

    Valve Ditches Artifact 2.0

    Makes the original game F2P.

Valve is giving up on the idea of Artifact 2.0. This was their attempt to perform drastic overhauls to Artifact after the game was deemed a failure by fans and developers alike. It was a reboot, of sorts. Valve says that they have "accomplished most of (their) game-side goals, (but they) haven't managed to get the active player numbers to a level that justifies further development at this time."

So, development on the Artifact 2.0...

On March 18, Marvel's Avengers will be updated in a number of ways. That is the date in which Hawkeye will be added to the roster. The bad news here is that March 18 is also the date in which the team at Crystal Dynamics and Square Enix will revise the amount of experience needed in order to level up.

In short, you will now need more...

    by Shawn Zipay
Get that Premium Edition and play three days early!

Looks like the latest growing trend with game releases is to offer a more expensive Premium or Gold or whatever edition that grants you access to a game a few days ahead of its official release.

Starfield did it with their $99.99 (USD) Premium Edition. Today, Payday 3 is doing an "Early Access" release with their Silver and Gold editions. Diablo 4 did the same thing earlier in the year, as did Madden NFL 24,...
