Confirmed after a short bout as a rumor.

Microsoft confirmed the short-lived rumor that Halo Infinite would have free multiplayer. Users were able to trick Steam into thinking they lived in one region where a price of a game was more favorable to them due to exchange rates. This had the unfortunate side-effect of developers and publishers having to increase prices in these regions to put a stop to those using VPNs...

Metacritic Finally Does Away with Day One User Scores

Perhaps done in an effort to suppress user score review bombing.

According to a new report by Paul Tassi, via Forbes, Metacritic seems to be doing away with allowing users to submit scores on games until at least a day after release. Tassi notes that user scores for the just released Ghost of Tsushima only has critical scores posted for the game. The user scores are currently showing a message that user reviews will be permitted starting July 18 at 12PM (PT).

The message...

Secret Maps Showed Off Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Launch Trailer

The launch trailer for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 came out today. I mean, the game is out on October 12, 2018 so having a launch trailer now isn't exactly out of the ordinary. It's a launch trailer. It shows off some scenes of action, it has some voice over work, and the like. Well, that's a bit different and not really something that's been done on the scale of a AAA game. At least, it wasn't a thing until now. Google, of all companies, announced Project Stream earlier today. They're calling it a "techn...

Pets Added in Fortnite Season 6

The sixth season of Fortnite is upon us. And while Epic Games is dubbing it the "Darkness Rises" season, I'm calling it the season where you can get pets. Pets in Fortnite. Hell to the yes!
