PGA Tour 2K21 'Baller Edition' Announced

Get it? Because of golf balls.

2K just announced the Baller Edition of PGA Tour 2K21 today that includes various bonus content and is "dripping with swag." Because when I think of golf and golfers, I immediately think of "swag." I say this as someone who used to golf regularly.

The mode will have you inserting into a point on one of the base Battlefield 2042 maps as a squad of four. Once on the ground, you must locate and retrieve Data Drives that are scattered around the map. All the while you will be fighting...

FIFA Wants to Charge EA $1 Billion Every Four Years for License

This might give us a reason why EA is considering changing the name.

Recently, EA revealed that they have been considering ditching the "FIFA" name from its annual soccer video game franchise. There were some definite questions raised as to why EA would even consider doing such a thing since FIFA is a hugely recognizable name.

Today, some light has been shed that could provide a good reason why EA was considering this move. According to a new report from the...

Sony is giving away three PlayStation VR titles to all PlayStation Plus subscribers in November 2021. This is being done as part of the headset's fifth birthday celebration. Included in today's announcement is word about what the most-played PlayStation VR titles of all time have been.

Call of Duty's New Anti-Cheat, Ricochet, to Use Kernel-Level Driver

This is about as invasive an anti-cheat as you can get.

On October 12, the Call of Duty devs issued a vague, ominous, and really cringey warning to cheaters. As it stands, the new anti-cheat for Call of Duty: Warzone wasn't slated to be released until Call of Duty: Vanguard released later this year. So, what then were they teasing to be revealed today?

Well, it was the reveal announcement for their new anti-cheat. They call it Ricochet, which is not to be confused with...

Google is now fighting back against Epic Games as part of the ongoing antitrust litigation between the two companies. A new countersuit was filed by Google against Epic Games and focuses on something called Project Liberty. This is being done as part of the studio's effort to reduce toxic behavior in their MOBA-style game. Though all chat has been disabled, players will still be able to talk to their own team. There are also emotes that players can use to express themselves should the need arise.

Call of Duty Cheaters Issued Ominous Threat from Activision

I guess Activision is... rising up?

Look cheaters, you best not mess with Call of Duty devs because they're one step away from leveling up and you look like just enough XP. If that made you cringe, you're in the right place to see even more cringe.

The Call of Duty twitter account issued a weird, kind of ominous, kind of cringe-filled threat to cheaters today. In their all caps message, the account said that "CHEATERS AREN'T WELCOME" and that "SOON YOU'LL...

Activision Blizzard Lawsuits Hit a Major Snag

There may be a conflict of interests that are muddying the waters.

Stick with me on this, because this is probably going to be a little confusing. At the end of September 2021, Activision Blizzard settled a lawsuit brought on by the U.S. Equal Employment Opportunity Commission (EEOC) for the lowly amount of $18 million (USD). This lawsuit would be used to "compensate and make amends" for employees impacted by the rampant sexual discrimination and harassment that has been...
