Review: FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One

The best feeling controller I've ever used.

Much like its FightPad sibling, the Fusion Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One is also an officially licensed product from Microsoft. That is about where the similarities end between these two drastically different peripherals. Where the FightPad is focused on just one specific genre, the Fusion Pro is built to take on all types of games.

This controller features a soft touch plastic faceplate, rubberized back, metallic accent rings, the same snap-lock USB cable from the FightPad, a 3.5mm audio jack on...

Review: FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One

A design blast from the past.

About a month ago, we brought you news on some new controllers coming out from PowerA. Specifically, the news was about the company's new FUSION Pro controllers and their FUSION FightPad offerings. At the same time, we were offered the opportunity to review these controllers.

Over the past month, I have put both the black FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One and the FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One through their paces. Of the two, I have spent far more time with the Pro controller, but you can read about that...

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare Does Away with Prestige Levels

New progression system details revealed.

A new blog focused on Call of Duty: Modern Warfare went up today that talks about the progression changes that were made for this year's release. First off, there are no more Prestige levels. Players will be able to earn 55 base levels and 100 additional Officer Ranks in each season of play.

This news comes hot on the heels of word that Modern Warfare is doing away with paid map packs and loot boxes.

Each weapon now also has 100 earnable camo patterns and an average of 50 attachments. You...

Review: GreedFall (PC)

A long and thrilling journey.

GreedFall is a game that filled a gaping void I did not know I had for a new action-RPG experience. Though it lacks some of the polish you would expect from a major game release these days, the game still rewards the player with fun and varied combat, complex story beats, and an overall experience that should make even the veterans at BioWare sit up and take notice. For those of you that have been on the fence about picking up GreedFall, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not go pick it up right now.

Blizzard Issues Insultingly Pathetic Statement About Blitzchung Suspension and Reasoning

The cowards just doubled down.

Taking a page from politicians and businesses that know late on Friday is the best time to release news that you are positively ashamed to share, Blizzard has finally issued a statement about the recent ban on Blitzchung and two Hearthstone casters.

Before we get into it all, let's just read what they have to say. Here is Blizzard's full statement as it currently appears on their website.

Despite a reduction of six months for the suspension, Blizzard is still punishing Blitzchung. The...

Ghost Recon Wildlands Gets Some Special Rainbow Six Siege Crossover Content

Tomorrow, July 24 will see some new content hit Ghost Recon Wildlands. This content includes a new PvE Ghost Mode, new PvP classes, maps, and features, and a new PvE crossover mission featuring some Operators from Rainbow Six Siege.
When Caveira, an elite Brazilian Operator, goes missing, Rainbow fears she's up to her old criminal ways. Intelligence agent Valkyrie has tracked her to Bolivia, and enlists the help of the Ghosts, along with nearby Operator Twitch, to find Caveira and discover out what's really going on.

    That's the short g...

OnRush Devs at Codemasters Hit with Layoffs

Codemasters has reportedly laid off a number of employees from the OnRush development team after it was widely reported that sales have been adequate at best.

The team was previously known as Evolution Studios. They were acquired by Codemasters in 2016 after being dropped by their previous owner, Sony. While working as Evolution Studios, the studio created the often delayed but fairly well-reviewed Driveclub. They were also the team that brought the world the MotorStorm extreme racing titles. Of those laid off, was OnRush director and primary face of the...

  • ESA Summer 2018 Marathon - Speedrunning to Save the Children

ESA Summer 2018 Marathon - Speedrunning to Save the Children

It's a marathon filled weekend, because we have another one to tell you about. The European Speedrunner Assembly (ESA) is holding the aptly named ESA Summer 2018 marathon this week. Starting today and in the days ahead, a bunch of speedrunners from all over will be running games in an effort to raise money for Save the Children.

The event started earlier today and is expected to wrap up on Saturday, July 28. Now here is where things get interesting. ESA has not one but two streams going for this marathon. The first stream (primary stream?) is a continuous...

  • Mario Marathon 2018 - Playing Super Mario Odyssey for Charity

Mario Marathon 2018 - Playing Super Mario Odyssey for Charity

Another Mario Marathon is upon us and you know what that means? That's right, it's time to play a ton of Mario all to raise money for the Child's Play Charity.

This year, the team is doing things a bit differently. Instead of playing a bunch of different Mario games, they have instead opted to go for an 880 Moon run of Super Mario Odyssey for the Nintendo Switch. This also seems to mean that instead of running games for roughly an entire week, they will instead wrap up the marathon late in the day on Sunday, July 22. You have at least a day to get in...

F1 2018 Gameplay Video with Nico Hulkenberg

Codemasters released a new gampelay video for F1 2018. The video features Nico Hulkenberg from the Renault Sport Formula One Team.

I'm assuming F1 fans recognize the name. I just like it because it looks like a pretty cool name. F1 2018 will be released on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC on August 24, 2018.
The return of the German Grand Prix to the calendar for this season sees Hockenheimring included in F1 2018 along with Circuit Paul Ricard, which features in the series for the first time, and the 19 other official F1 circuits from around
