A Rumor Suggests a Knights of the Old Republic Remake is in Development

It's a slow news day, so here's a rumor born from a single site.

A new rumor was fired up yesterday from cinelinx.com that says a remake of Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic is currently in the works. There might be a bit of validity behind this rumor, we aren't exactly sure ourselves. The track record of cinelinx is unknown to us, but it's a slow news day so let's roll with it.

The site claims that two independent sources have told them that Knights of the Old R...

Court Rules that Player's Free Speech Rights Weren't Violated After Being Banned From a Video Game

Imagine that, a gamer was dumb enough to argue about free speech rights.

A federal court dismisses a case where an (alleged) moron complained about his free speech rights being violated in a video game. A Pennsylvania man actually tried to claim that his civil rights were violated after he was muted by the developers in an online video game.

To interject briefly: Yes, there are indeed people that don't have a fucking clue what "freedom of speech" actually means....

Now, it will instead be released on April 10. This comes via a press release sent out Kitase and the development team at Square Enix.

This sad news comes roughly a week after the still unannounced demo for Final Fantasy 7 Remake was leaked. There are already...

Fortnite: Save the World Free Release Delayed

This probably won't come as a shock to some of you and will probably make others go "isn't Fortnite just a battle royale game?", but the promised free release of the Save the World campaign for Fortnite has been delayed. First of all, no, Fortnite isn't just the battle royale game. In fact, it was a cooperative game focused on building and survival against zombies long before battle royale came about. Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Sales Surpasses $500 Million in Three Days

The lack of a single player campaign sure as hell doesn't seem to matter to most of the gaming world, as evident by the fact that Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has pulled in over $500 million (USD) in worldwide sales just over its launch weekend.

To put it perspective, that is about the same amount that Call of Duty: WWII pulled in last year. However, it is down ever so slightly from Call of Duty: Black Ops 3 that pulled in over $550 million in its first three days.

Smaller Shops Reportedly Won't Get Red Dead Redemption 2 Until November

This is an interesting story to share with you today. According to a new report from Kotaku, smaller retail shops will not get any copies of Red Dead Redemption 2 to sell until at least November. Watch the Red Dead Redemption 2 Launch Trailer

Think of the title less of an informative statement and more of a command. You will watch the launch trailer for Red Dead Redemption 2 that came out today. I'm sure you would do this anyway even without me issuing a weak command to you, so it's not like I'm pushing you that hard.

THQ Nordic and Bugbear announced that Wreckfest will not be making its planned release on November 20, 2018 on the PlayStation 4 and Xbox One. It has instead been delayed until some time in 2019.
Anti-bullshit quote: "Wreckfest for consoles will only be released as soon as we love playing it. After the fantastic release on PC, the benchmark for the console release is much higher. At this moment, the team needs more time to polish the multiplayer part, as well as the overall performance
