Review: FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One

The best feeling controller I've ever used.

Much like its FightPad sibling, the Fusion Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One is also an officially licensed product from Microsoft. That is about where the similarities end between these two drastically different peripherals. Where the FightPad is focused on just one specific genre, the Fusion Pro is built to take on all types of games.

This controller features a soft touch plastic faceplate, rubberized back, metallic accent rings, the same snap-lock USB cable from the FightPad, a 3.5mm audio jack on...

Review: FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One

A design blast from the past.

About a month ago, we brought you news on some new controllers coming out from PowerA. Specifically, the news was about the company's new FUSION Pro controllers and their FUSION FightPad offerings. At the same time, we were offered the opportunity to review these controllers.

Over the past month, I have put both the black FUSION Pro Wired Controller for Xbox One and the FUSION Wired FightPad for Xbox One through their paces. Of the two, I have spent far more time with the Pro controller, but you can read about that...

Review: GreedFall (PC)

A long and thrilling journey.

GreedFall is a game that filled a gaping void I did not know I had for a new action-RPG experience. Though it lacks some of the polish you would expect from a major game release these days, the game still rewards the player with fun and varied combat, complex story beats, and an overall experience that should make even the veterans at BioWare sit up and take notice. For those of you that have been on the fence about picking up GreedFall, you would be doing yourself a disservice if you did not go pick it up right now.

Blizzard Issues Insultingly Pathetic Statement About Blitzchung Suspension and Reasoning

The cowards just doubled down.

Taking a page from politicians and businesses that know late on Friday is the best time to release news that you are positively ashamed to share, Blizzard has finally issued a statement about the recent ban on Blitzchung and two Hearthstone casters.

Before we get into it all, let's just read what they have to say. Here is Blizzard's full statement as it currently appears on their website.

Despite a reduction of six months for the suspension, Blizzard is still punishing Blitzchung. The...

The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening Overview Trailer

Time to party like it's 1993... and 1998.

Nintendo has released a new trailer for their upcoming Nintendo Switch release of The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening. For some of you, this will make for the third time that Nintendo will have released this classic RPG. The first time was back in 1993 for the original Game Boy and then again in 1998 for the Game Boy Color as The Legend of Zelda: Link's Awakening DX. It has also come out on things like Virtual Console, but it was just a direct port of the DX release.

Now, Nintendo is once again preparing...

New Code Vein Trailer Reveals Another Boss

The usual warning about spoilers applies here.

This boss is called the Successor of the Claw and it is one angry cat. In addition to some sharp claws, this boss also wields a giant blade and can pounce around the arena. As if that wasn't...

Third Free Update Out Now for Super Dragon Ball Heroes World Mission

New update adds as much content as the game's title is long.

Final Fantasy VII Remake Tokyo Game Show 2019 Trailer

The trailer is at the bottom after these boring words.

Square Enix showed off an all new trailer for Final Fantasy VII Remake this week at the Tokyo Game Show. The new trailer offers a fresh look at gameplay, the slums of Midgar, and a peak at the mini-games and summons. Midgar is home to the Shinra Electric Power Company. This kind of totally evil company is in conflict with Avalanche, a resistance group fighting to keep their planet alive. You will also get your first look at some of the Shinra operatives known as The Turks.

    Square Enix also...

The newest action-RPG from Spiders may be their best yet.

GreedFall, a new action-RPG from Spiders Studio and published by Focus Home Interactive, has been released today on the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. A lot of the pre-release media for the game may be of interest to those who enjoy the Dragon Age franchise and even The Witcher titles.

Take Early Borderlands 3 Reviews with a Grain of Salt

Copies of Borderlands 3 given to only a select few review sites ahead of launch.

Review copies of Borderlands 3 have only been provided to a select few media outlets ahead of the game's launch on Friday, September 13. The game's publisher, 2K, says that this is all due in part to some unspecified "security concerns" over the game.

As Kotaku points out, most review copies are provided to outlets roughly a week or two ahead of the public launch. These review copies can be physical offerings or, as is more common these days, a digital...

Borderlands 3 Launch Trailer - 'Let's Make Some Mayhem'

Borderlands 3 will be released on September 13, 2019 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC via Epic Games Store. It will be exclusive to the Epic Games Store for a period of six months until being more widely released on the PC. That is, assuming, plans don't change between now and then.

Developer Gearbox and publisher 2K are saying that this is the return of the original shooter-looter, or "shlooter" if you think "why waste time say lot word." ...
