Sony just laid off about 900 people across multiple PlayStation studios around the world. These 900 or so laid off employees account for roughly 8% of the total workforce for Sony Interactive Entertainment.

Embracer Lays Off 97 Employees from Eidos; Cancels New Deus Ex

Embracer's rampage continues.

Eidos-Montreal, a development studio currently under the Embracer umbrella, made the sad announcement that employees at the studio were being laid off. Eidos took to social media to confirm that 97 people have been let go "from development teams, administration, and support services".

    The remake is coming March 24, 2023.

    Capcom opened this evening's State of Play in grand fashion by announcing and showing off our first look at the Resident Evil 4 remake they have been quietly working on. Capcom is calling this remake "reawakened" but that does not seem to be an actual part of the game's title, instead opting to just call this Resident Evil 4.

    Euro Truck Simulator 2's Russia DLC Indefinitely Postponed

    I think we all know why.

    Euro Truck Simulator 2 developer SCS Software says that the Heart of Russia DLC that they have been working on is now postponed indefinitely. The studio was working on bringing a large drivable version of Russia into the sim long before Russia invaded Ukraine.
