Resident Evil 3 Remake Cover Art Leaked

Features a look at Jill, Carlos, and Nemesis.

We seem to have yet another leak on our hands today. This time it's for the still not officially announced remake of Resident Evil 3. It seems as though the cover art for this totally not real game was found on the servers for the PlayStation Store.

A games tracker feature on Gamstat quickly embeded the images from the PlayStation Store and thus made them visible publicly. Since then the images were pulled from being publicly accessible on the PlayStation Store. It's a good thing Gematsu saved the...

Review: Superliminal (PC)

A puzzle game that pushes you to see things differently.

Superliminal is a game that time after time after time suggests to you, hints to you, or outright tells you that everything is a matter of perspective. It is a game that tells you that though you believe a puzzle to be impossible, the solution could be staring you right in the face.

Superliminal is a game that takes these simple ideas and attempts to create an entire game with that in mind. You are taught that signs can become steps or an alarm clock can be climbed in certain situations....

Half-Life Alyx Reveal Trailer, 4K Screens, and Release Date Announced

Valve is back.

It's been over 12 years. 12 years since the last Half-Life game was released. While it may not be Half-Life 3, Valve did today reveal Half-Life Alyx to the world. This is a new VR title for the PC that is set between the events of Half-Life and Half-Life 2.

Valve is straight up calling this a "full-length" game that just happens to require a VR device to experience. Pre-orders are available now, months ahead of the game's currently planned release in March 2020. A pre-order discount brings the $59.99 (USD) price down...

Google Stadia is Out Today and Reportedly a 'Monumental Flop'

It's time for "good news, bad news."

For Google, today is a bit of a mixed bag. The good news for them is that they just soft launched their first dedicated gaming platform, Stadia. The bad news is that it's reportedly a "monumental flop."

Today, those who purchased the $130 Founder's Edition of Stadia are probably awaiting its delivery. The physical contents largely consisting of a unique Stadia controller and a Chromecast Ultra. Though you had to plunk down $130 for this, there was actually no guarantee that you would get...

  • 'Obey Me' Brings a Holy War to Consoles and PC Later this Year

'Obey Me' Brings a Holy War to Consoles and PC Later this Year

Blowfish Studios and Error 404 Game Studios are working on Obey Me, a new "cooperative holypunk brawler" that is targeting a Q3 2019 release for PS4, XB1, Switch, and PC.

Obey Me dives into the notion that angels and demons are waging an ongoing war that humans can't see. And just like with other similar stories, the fate of all mankind hangs in the balance. This story is actually expanded upon by a series of graphic novels from Dynamite Comics. It features work from Marvel vet Ben Herrera (X-Men and Spider-Man covers). The first issue will be released...

  • Unity Changes Terms Once More, Commits to 'Being an Open Platform'

Unity Changes Terms Once More, Commits to 'Being an Open Platform'

Unity has had a real interesting seven days. Last week, SpatialOS from developer Improbable was apparently barred from being used within Unity development. SpatialOS is a robust tool that many Unity developers use to add multiplayer to their games. For a time, Unity's new Terms, which went live in early December but were only clarified to Improbable last week, actually affected games that were already released. This led to some quick back and forths between Improbable and Unity through their respective sites. It all seemed to quiet down when Improbable and Epic...

  • EA Cancels Yet Another Star Wars Game (Update)

EA Cancels Yet Another Star Wars Game (Update)

A headline like "EA Cancels Another Star Wars Game" feels like they're a dime a dozen these days. I think EA may have cancelled as many Star Wars games as they have closed studios at this point. Here we are again and here EA is with another cancelled EA game on their hands. This time, the development studio has decided to cancel its open-world Star Wars game that EA Vancouver had been working on. Prior to EA Vancouver working on this title, it was in development from Visceral Games. Of course, EA shut down Visceral Games back in 2017. In fact, when Visceral wa...

I was provided with the highlights from Bethesda, so let's first take a look at those.

That's a fairly succinct list, but let's dive in a bit deeper into Elsweyr. Elsweyr is slated to launch on the PC, Mac, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4 on June 4. You are already...
