The latest beta update for the Steam client has some interesting surprises tucked away within the code. The new client update has several strings that reference things like a "Neptune" controller alongside something else called "SteamPal." The prevailing theory is that Valve is working on a handheld console, perhaps similar to the Nintendo Switch, that will be called SteamPal when it is released....

Battlefield: Bad Company Series Will Return Says Director

Lars Gustavsson told reporters at a recent Battlefield 4 event that a third installment in the Battlefield: Bad Company series will happen, you know, eventually.
"My feeling is that I would love to do it. For me, when we started the company with 1942, it was really a work of passion," Gustavsson said. "And then we worked our way through the era of different wars, and I loved them all, like my little babies. When it came to Bad Company, it was creative freedom; don't take yourself

Lead Designer for Assassin's Creed 4 Explains PC Delays

PC gamers should be used to this by now as Assassin's Creed IV: Black Flag is slated to be released after the console versions. So, what's the excuse this time? Lead Designer for the game, Jean-Sebastien Decant, explains why.
"It all depends on what is the master version," Decant said. "If for instance, the [Xbox 360] version was the master version, or the PlayStation 3 version was the master version, then we'd need a little bit more time to adapt it for the PC. But we need to finish that
