Metro Exodus is Back on Steam and at 40% Off

525,600 minutes...

Last night, perhaps when you were snuggled up under your blankets, a little miracle happened. It was in the midnight hour (ET) when Metro Exodus returned to being sold on Steam. Normally, this isn't quite the monumental occasion, but it certainly is in the case of Metro Exodus.

It was Metro Exodus that really kicked off the season of the Epic Games Store exclusive. This was a period in which a fair number of games that were slated to be released on Steam,...

Geoff Keighley to Skip E3 for First Time as Troubles Mount for Dying Trade Show

This comes the same day the exhibitor list was leaked.

Geoff Keighley, creator of The Game Awards, revealed today that he will not be attending E3 2020. His decision to not attend this year's event will mark the first time in 25 years that the industry veteran will not be in attendance. It also means that he will not host the annual E3 Coliseum show. This was a regular event where Keighley would host a series of game developers in a rather informal Q&A, allowing them to talk freely...

The Division 2 Warlords of New York Expansion Confirmed

A dangling plot thread from the first game is finally going somewhere.

Ubisoft has officially announced the Warlords of New York expansion today for Tom Clancy's The Division 2 (affiliate link btw) after details about it leaked yesterday evening. We now know for certain that this expansion launches on March 3. We also know for certain that players are returning to New York, specifically four new named zones in Lower Manhattan.

In today's announcement, Ubisoft confirmed...

Anthem is Finally Getting a Massive Overhaul

BioWare officially announces their plans to make major changes.

Anthem as it currently exists is hanging on by the most tenuous of threads. Despite apparently being one of 2019's top selling titles, at least according to data shared by The NPD Group, the player base is next to non-existent. It would take a significant amount of work to get players interested in the game once again, which is apparently what BioWare has been working on behind the scenes for a little while now.

Insomniac Reveals New PAX East Trailer for Stormland

A new trailer surfaced today ahead of PAX East 2019 for the Insomniac Games developed VR title, Stormland.

Stormland is currently only in development for the Oculus Rift. The chances of it being released for other platforms, like the Vive or PlayStation VR are pretty slim since it's being published by Oculus Studios. Of course, it's not particularly difficult to get Rift "exclusive" games working on the Vive thanks to Revive, so maybe that's a moot point.

The free games coming with April 2019's Games with Gold and PlayStation Plus were revealed this week. Let's just get right to it.

Xbox owners will get to play games like The Technomancer and Outcast: Second Contact this April. PlayStation owners get just two PlayStation 4 titles again and those are The Surge and Conan Exiles. We particularly enjoyed The Surge back when it was first released, which was reviewed prior to a number of patches being released. The Technomancer earned an "honorable mention" in our games of the year for 2016. ...

GWENT: The Witcher Card Game will be released on smartphones later this year. This release will bring all of the intense card flipping action to your fingertips when the game arrives on both iOS and Android devices at some unspecified date later in 2019.

I should note here that it seems as though the iOS version will be out first. I'm reading that "details regarding an Android release will be announced at a later date." Of course.

Borderlands 3 Teased Ahead of Full Reveal

The full reveal for Borderlands 3 isn't for another, oh, roughly 25 hours from now, but that doesn't mean we can't have a teaser video today, right? Earlier today, a trailer went up for Borderlands that makes a point of saying that "Mayhem is coming!"

Specifically, it seems as though Mayhem is a mask. Hence the title of this teaser is "Mask of Mayhem." In the trailer we get a good look at some of the characters you will be fighting as and against. A recent...
