    The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay was a big sleeper hit in 2004, a time when games like Doom 3, Far Cry, and Half-Life 2 ruled the scene. Butcher Bay was praised for its creativity and visual performance that set the bar high for that year. The game received high marks, but was quickly forgotten because of the lack of multiplayer and because it was only released on the PC and Xbox.

    Assault on Dark Athena aims to continue the story of Butcher Bay as well as bring back a remastered version of the prequel for a new crop of gamers to enjoy, all in one great package. Can this reincarnated version of Escape from Butcher Bay, Assault on Dark Athena, do enough to satisfy the needs of the 2009 gamer even with 2004 design? Read more...
