  • TGN's Timeline For The Legend of Zelda

It is one of the most celebrated series to date, but every title bearing the Legend of Zelda name leaves one question unanswered: At what point in Hyrulian history did this happen? We are going to try to answer this mystery. Check it out:
When you hear "The Legend of Zelda" you likely think of a series of epic adventures. The way these adventures tie in with one other probably never crosses your mind, that's why I'm here, to look at these random events. Many theories exist as to what the Zelda timeline is, and with no official word from Nintendo who's to say anyone is wrong. This is the plot that Shigeru Miyamoto gave nearly a decade ago: "Ocarina of Time is the first story, then the original The Legend of Zelda, then Zelda II: The Adventure of Link, and finally A Link to the Past." So how would this make sense? The split timeline theory.
