A few of the staff at Left 4 Dead 411 recently had an opportunity to visit Valve for one of the last "previews" any site will ever have for Left 4 Dead prior to its release.
The took away nearly an hour of footage (from a camera mounted on a tri-pod) and over seven pages of hands-on preview time with the game. To make things more interesting, they bumped the difficulty up to "Expert" and took us through the "Blood Harvest" scenario.

We flew to California to Valve South wondering whether the game we fell in love with so long ago was still the same.Be sure and check out the videos either scattered throughout their preview or view them all below.
It's certainly a lot prettier, much more refined, and thankfully is still the same Left 4 Dead.
It is intense, fast-paced, thrilling, exhilarating, and exhausting. I am still in awe over how fun and unique of an experience it offers. It is challenging, and I certainly failed quite a bit. I screamed, cursed, laughed, and cried, and definitely loved every single second of it.
