The latest issue of "CVG Presents" features a look at the co-op and multiplayer mdoes in Call of Duty: World at War. Without having to pick up the magazine, what details did they spill for us for free?
The Flak Jacket absorbs the damage taken from a single grenade, the Gas Mask perk makes you resistant to gas grenades, and the Shades perk negates the effects of flares. The game will also have new perks related to the vehicles newly added to the multiplayer mode.Call of Duty: World at War will be released for most every current-gen system on the market come mid-November.
The magazine also confirms that co-op gameplay will be given a competitive spin with a points-scoring system for kills, and 'Death Cards' in the co-op mode unlocks more modes and features in the game.
It will support 18 players, just like the previous game, and will pack new grenades including, Gas bombs, signal flares, bouncing betties and sticky grenades.
