Monolith has snatched up the naming rights to the F.E.A.R. series from Activision and has re-named Project Origin to F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin.
Activision previously held the naming rights to the series, but after the recent merger with Blizzard, a number of projects were put on indefinite hold. Monolith and parent company Warner Brothers quickly snatched up the naming rights and thus gave birth to F.E.A.R. 2: Project Origin.
Project Origin is set to be released on the PC, PS3, and Xbox 360 at some point in 2009.
