The Steam Store is set to receive a minor update. While the update will contain nothing new visually, the changes mainly affect the URL used to access the store.
However, despite appearing the same the code underneath the store has undergone a major overhaul to get it in shape for some future features we are working on. We'd love to get some community testing in the next week before we set the new code live for everyone.If you happen to run across a bug or an error, you can always report it in this thread on the Steampowered forums.
The new store is available at http://store.steampowered.com. We'll be replacing the old store with this one for everyone soon, so please report any bugs you find. A bug should be considered any difference from the old public store. The idea is that this update should keep the same appearance and data, it should just be a change to the underlying code.
