First there was no chance for a PlayStation 3 version of Left 4 Dead. Then there was false hope given that you would get the game, but those rumors were quickly smashed.
Now, it looks as though there is still some hope at seeing a PS3 version of Left 4 Dead.
Valve's Doug Lombardi states that the chances of seeing L4D on the PS3 are "50-50 right now." Will it come this year if they decide to go ahead with it?

There's zero chance of it happening this year. It's something that's being talked about right now as the game is gaining popularity and looking like it's going to be a hit.This renewed interest in developing the game for the PS3 comes after Valve took a look at the industry and just happened to notice a nice increase in hardware sales of the PS3.
