The latest round of the Make Something Unreal Contest is quickly approaching. The contest dishes out hardware, software, and a full licnese for the Unreal Engine 3 to its grand prize winner.
What do you have to do to get your hands on such a prize? You have to design, create, and submit your own modification for Unreal Tournament 3. After that, it's all a matter of winning the contest for having the best mod on the block.
The last winner of the contest, Tripwire Interactive, won with its popular Red Orchestra: Combined Arms modification for Unreal Tournament 2004. Since then they've released a stand-alone title Red Orchestra: Ostfront 41-45 and are hard at work on their own Unreal Engine 3 title.
There will be multiple categories, so mods should have no trouble finding a specific home to fit into. The judging will begin in June 2008, and every mod that is submitted will be made available for all PC owners of UT3 to play.
If you think you have what it takes to win, then go on, Make Something Unreal.
