Map designer, cesig, is busy placing the finishing touches on his latest creation, Devious Methods. The map, set in an industrialized locale, focuses on a group of terrorists in the first stages of an assault on a warehouse full of missle parts. Cesig breaks down the layout of his map for us.
The layout provides many spots that provide an advantage over one area, while being vulnerable from another. This forces both teams to use teamwork and communication to both avoid ambushes and set them up for the other team.There are a good handful of screenshots and additional information at the Devious Methods page. There are a number of hallways and sniper runs that provide varied gameplay, as well as several large, open rooms that are great for MP5s.
