The Cyberathlete Professional League has released details of both the Summer and Winter championships, in this coming year. Looks like there's still not much love for Source, but in this time of sponsorship transitions and whatnot, you never know.[break="Click here to read the CPL press release"]
The CPL announced that it has confirmed the dates for the CPL Winter Championships, which will take place Wednesday, December 13, 2006 to Sunday, December 17, 2006 at the Hyatt Regency in downtown Dallas.
The CPL is hosting several official and unofficial tournaments at this event, including an official Counter-Strike 1.6 team tournament. The winter event will also host a large BYOC, exhibitions, concerts, workshops and other activities.

Recently, the CPL also announced that the Summer Championships 2007 will take place Wednesday, July 18, 2007 to Sunday, July 23, 2007 at the Gaylord Texan Resort & Convention Center in Grapevine, Texas.
