Xfire and Mountain Dew have teamed up to bring gamers another night of games, prizes, and fun. The Mountain Dew Midnight Showdown on Xfire is slated to take place October 2nd.
From 4:00 EDT October 1st until 12:00am October 2nd, 2006, Xfire will be running a multi-gaming event of epic proportions. The event features "Play with the Pros" sessions in Battlefield 2, Call of Duty 2, Counter-Strike: Source, Counter-Strike 1.6, and Day of Defeat. The East Coast vs. West Coast rivalry will be revisited with a live video broadcast by EGLN in an All Star Exhibition Match in Counter-Strike: Source at 7:00 pm EDT. The players will chat with users before the event, and then go head to head in the match.
