As many know the AWP is perhaps THE most powerful weapon in Counter-Strike. This is despite attempts by Valve to balance the weapon with several changes. As many can remember the AWP has at varying stages had a crosshair while unzoomed, the view unrestricted while zoomed, below waist shots were not fatal, and movement had little effect on accuracy. These changes have made the weapon less powerful in the hands of the inexperienced, but those who have mastered the gun can take out an entire team given enough distance from the enemy or being able to pick them off one by one. Mastery of the AWP is essential. If you are up against a clan that heavily and effectively uses the AWP you will be helpless unless your clan also uses the AWP to at least clear away the snipers and make way for your rushers.Get it?
