3dactionplanet Has released a rather neat editorial on the subject of "fps etiquette". It's basically a list of do's and don'ts, but its a good read especially if you're unsure about your nonexistent moral values. Here's a tidbit:
Now, the biggest problem isn't cheating... it's accusations of cheating. For every legitimate cheater, there are 10 more players (give or take a factor of ten, based on the game) who are either extremely good or got a very lucky shot off. Professional gamers spank my hiney more extremely and more mechanically that the worst bot ever did, and I myself have been called a cheater on more than one occasion for either a lucky shot or a bluff I made that paid off. Accusing other players of cheating has become an affair of crying wolf.Have a look.
