Apparently the guys at Planet CS.de (we posted their mini-interview with cliffe and goose earlier today) some how got the idea that there was a Winter 2002 release of CS2. VoodooExtreme has some more info:
Everyone should really lay off the CS2 stuff, the only thing we know about it is that it will have more hit/death animations made by Gooseman himself (and we broke that tidbit, proving that I am king).
The really sad thing is that I'm working on a CS2 section right now and even I realize how stupid the section is going to be.
It seems that date is not exactly accurate, as Cliffe (CS guy) let us know that there is no firm release date but, it would be pretty far off. Additionaly, he says that The CS team will talk more about this and reveal more details when the "time is right."Apache knows the deal, even if we have found out absolutely nothing new being a new site requires that we post the new stuff .. even if it isn't new.
