PlanetCS has some new info about CS2. Well, not really. Since it doesn't say much, lets just grab Gooseman's take:
Mail from PlanetCS.de:Cliffe says the same thing.. We kind of already knew this jazz, considering the CS 1.x series is now handled by Valve and cliffe (for map selection), while Goose is focusing on CS2.
In some earlier news Valve Software announced, that Counter-Strike 2 will be released in Winter 2002 and that it uses a completely new engine (like Team Fortress 2). Is this true ?
And are you now working also on Counter-Strike 2 or "only" on Counter-Strike 1.3 ? And when do you think Counter-Strike 1.3 will be released ?
