The CPL announced today it will be holding a 4-team invite tournament at their offices in Dallas on September 1st. Invited teams are X3, DoP, PAG, & GB. The five members of the winning team will receive state-of-the-art Pentium 4 Processor computers.
I'm just now wondering why they chose to have such a tournament at the drop of a hat, and only 4 teams to boot. My only speculation could be that Intel wants the press & CPL wants to hype their big december event.
