The Midwest Frag CPL Qualifier event (http://www.midwestfrag.org) is now accepting registrations on an email only basis, as the registration is currently in development. This Qualifier, which will be held November 9 - 11 in Bloomington IL has room for up to 40 CS teams, 17 of which are reserved, pending, or confirmed, leaving only 23 open spots. The CPL WC will be offering $150,000 in prizes and more info is available at TheCPL.comSounds FAAAAAAAANTASTIC!
Prizes for the Midwest Frag CPL Qualifier are as follows:
1) Airfare for 5 to Dallas TX for the CPL WC
2) Accomidations for 5
3) Spending money
4) CPL WC Autoberth
Of the 40 teams 8 are autoberths, which are earned attending and performing good at other Midwest Frag events.
You can expect some stiff competition with such generous prizes being given away. There will also be other events there, such as a small Quake III tourney and a case contest.
