Cypher over at CS Center informed me that those wacky guys have slapped up three new columns, since I'm in a rush I'll just steal his newsbit:
Camping. How far can it go?myColumn humor, funny since C++ objects.
I told him that it would be unfair of him to stay in his camp site and always wait for me to come out and just shoot me down. What the hell is that? I told him. In order to play fair you should play like how we previously played I told him. I then continued and told him that if he wanted to be a bitch and play unfair I will just wait on my camp site and instead wait for him to come to me. And I'll shoot him down.
Response to 'Yet Another Cheating Article'
My typical response to those convinced I use anything besides experience, cunning, reflexes, and luck is: You're better off not knowing the truth, cause it would only break your heart.
Be assured I've met players who are that much better than me. Do I think they cheat: No. I echo the comments of other skilled players in that I find cheaters never kill me more than I kill them. Furthermore, a cheater will not do better than me over a given mapcycle. Cheating is not a sufficient crutch.
My CS Story
Here is a great story on how me, a small town kid came to play the greatest game in the world. It all began a couple years ago when me and my family went down to Pennsylvania to visit family. While at my cousin’s house I went into his room to see him playing on his computer. The game he was playing intrigued me very much. As I watched my cousin play I began to wonder what this game was, and I wanted to play. After a while of begging, my cousin finally let me play the game. I can still remember the first game of Counter-Strike I ever played.
