    rizzuh wants you!!

We at CS-Nation are always trying to post original content. Sadly we actually never do this (except our lovable mailbag), so we're looking for some revolutionaries to help us bring the site back up to its one time glory, or something equally dramatic. In plain English, we'd like some more team members.

We always get flakes applying. If you don't have experience, time, or the will to do these jobs/responsibilities please don't apply. Please, only sign up if it will appeal to you as FUN!

You will not get a CS.net e-mail address for a long while, and trust me, people always sign up for e-mail addresses. Don't. Like the rest of the CS-Nation/CS.net team, you won't make a single cent off of all of this. With that being said I'm sure you're all clamoring for a position here.

What you will get is experience, recognition, and credit for all your work. If you keep up your hard work I'll lobby for you to get an e-mail address. In order to combat this, when you sign up you'll have to actually send in something that is post-quality.

    Here are the available positions:

    2 content/feature authors

This job would be generally updating loose ends on the site, writing humorous or serious articles, and any other thing that comes across your path. Initially you'll start out with updating the older aspects of the site, but down the line you'll main focus should be writing features for the site on a regular (every 1.5 weeks) basis. You should be online plenty and very good at maintaining schedules. For this position you will need to know advanced HTML from the start.

To apply, send a humorous article to rze@counter-strike.net. Funny pictures are a plus, edited or otherwise. Please include your age and past site experience.

    1 strategy author

If you sign up for this, your job would be incorporating good clan planning with easy to read text and map overheads (from Counter-Strike 2D). If you're in a clan that's on one of the bigger leagues that's a definite plus. For this position you will need to know more advanced HTML, or must be willing to learn it (it's very, very, very simple. Don't worry!).

To apply, send a map strategy for cs_militia (keep in mind what I just asked for above) rze@counter-strike.net. Please include your clan and league (if applicable) and age.

    3 news hounds

This is a fairly simple position, but does require you to post news. Even if you don't want to. Even if you dislike the news. Even if your eyes will explode if you see another <blockquote>, you have to post news. It DOES become tedious after a while, so experience is a plus. For this position you will need to know basic HTML.

To apply, send past/current site experience and your age to rze@counter-strike.net.

    1 site artist

As site artist you wouldn't work have to very hard. Your primary job would be making flashes here and there for various CS-Nation features and content. Other duties would include making a monthly calendar-cum-desktop for CS-Nation members, obviously the wallpaper should deal with CS.

To apply, send past art/flash and a sample calendar for this month using a Counter-Strike motif to rze@counter-strike.net. Tell us if you have experience with 3d Studio Max.

You guys don't have to rush anything; the cutoff will be next Friday (the 15th), as long as you can write in a timely manner you'll be fine.

If you'd like to fill another position that isn't listed here, feel free to shoot an e-mail off to me and describe what you'd like to do. Also feel free to tell me about yourself in your e-mail.
