There's been a helluva lot activity going on in Domain of Games' CS league recently. Most importantly, the previous league has been split in two, and another mini-league has been created. With around 200 clans signed up for DoG's next season (the most clans ever to apply to a league,) it was decided to only keep the most professional clans and to deny the rest. The best teams would make their way into the core DoG league, whereas many of the newer, less-experienced clans were to be left out in the cold. Not anymore.
Symmetry is heading up the DoG Open CS League, which is composed of all those clans who didn't quite cut it. Furthermore, the league extends an invitation to any clan who's new to the game, and doesn't want to hop into a league full of veterans.
Lastly, a new style of CPL qualifiers has been born with DoG's CS 5 on 5 league. Whoever takes first in this (online) league will walk away with an autoberth to the CPL's SpeakEasy.net's $25k CS Tournament. [rs], [PAG], [CK3], and some other well-known LAN clans have already signed up, so if your team plans on competing, an autoberth would be nice.
