NextWish has sent this piece of news my way.
In short, NextWish.org is bigger, and better than ever!Today the 13 of February 2001, I am relaunching my web site NextWish.org with a new design and in doing so I've added a heap of brandnew content and modifications to celebrate the reopening of the site. There are a few notable additions to the site such as a Picture Of The Day and the ability to post comments about a news post and lotsa nifty (tm) features such as a Bandwidth Test ( http://www.nextwish.org/geek/speedtest.php ) and a Free For All Links ( http://www.nextwish.org/cgi-bin/links/main.cgi ) Page.
Anyways, I have released two new modifications. First up, is a modification which fixes the weapon names ( http://www.nextwish.org/mods/misc/cstrike-weaponnamesfix.shtml ) for Counter-Strike Retail so they use there realnames instead of fake ones. Secondly, is what I call a Anti Aimbot Spraypaint ( http://www.nextwish.org/mods/cheatfix/aimbotspray.shtml ) which when you spray it on the wall is draw anyone using the aimbot will find that the aimbot will target IT rather than you becuase of it containing the colors needed for the aimbot to work. Whilst not 100% foolproof, I have found that 9 out of 10 times it helps identify the cheaters using the aimbot.
I also have releasing new versions of all of my existing modifications and the new versions are now available for download on the appropriate page. One notable change is that all of my modifications now use the NSIS Install system and all of the modifications offer a uninstall capability so you can try my modifications and if you dont like it the modification can be uninstalled. Which basically means there no longer the need to reinstall the game to un install a modification !
